Cambridge Songwriters Showcase 2006 (Click Photos to watch Video) May 19, 2006 ~ The 4th annual Cambridge Songwriters Showcase was held at the Cambridge Public Library. The evening showcased a rich variety of local songwriters and musicians from the area. Performances spanned the musical gambit and included Country Gospel, Old-Time Mountin Music, Contemporary American, American Folk, and Country selections. Highlights of the evening included special guest performer Emily Smith (2005 Cambridge Songwriters Award) and the award of the 2006 Cambridge Pioneer Songwriter Award to Bob Warren of Greenwich NY. Recordings of the performances are available with a donation of $5.00 for Audio CD's and $10.00 for DVD's to the "Friends of the Cambridge Public Library".
