August 26, 2006 ~ CAMBRIDGE NY ~
The Merrymakers Caravan sponsored by The Twelve Tribes stopped in Cambridge for a day of music, dancing, food, and an "Open Forum" to
discuss all aspects of modern life. The Caravan is on its' last stop on their North Eastern tour, that included stops in VT, NH, MA, NY, and PA. The Caravan is heading south for the
winter to bring a glimpse of their culture to the Southern States. The Festival started at Noon with music and dance along with free healthy food brought over from the new bakery. Highlights of day included "Lively" discussions under the Open Forum canopy, tours of the 3 Caravan Busses, a hay ride to the Common Sense Farm and tour of their soap production facilities, plenty of music, dance, food and general merrymaking. The day was a great introduction to the unique lifestyle and culture, with ancient roots, of The Twelve Tribes and The Common Sense Farm. Be sure to visit our Photo Gallery for more photos of the event. |
